With over 27 years of experience, Dr. Sonny Afshar combines engineering precision with dental artistry. After earning his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Arizona State University, he completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Missouri in 1997.
Dr. Afshar’s dedication to advanced training includes certifications in conscious and IV sedation, as well as specialized training in implant dentistry from prestigious institutions like the Southwestern Institute of Implant Dentistry and the International Academy of Dental Implants. He is also skilled in advanced techniques, such as zygomatic and pterygoid implants, through training at the 4M Institute.
Known for his patient-centered approach, Dr. Afshar takes pride in crafting tailored treatments to meet each patient’s unique needs and goals, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
Dr. Fara T. Afshar brings a deep passion for dentistry and patient care. She began her academic journey with honors in Biochemistry from California State University, Fullerton, in 2000, and later earned her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of the Pacific in 2011.
Her path to dentistry is a testament to her determination, balancing motherhood with a rigorous education. She began her career in dentistry as a receptionist and quickly rose to practice management before pursuing her dream of becoming a dentist.
